Partnerships

THANS collaborates with local Government Authorities to implement health, education and WASH programs at community level. These partnerships ensure sustainability and alignment with national policies, and we have reached Bogwe Secondary School, Kiganamo Health Facility, and Kasulu District Hospital.

We collaborate with local NGOs and CBOs working in mainland Tanzania such as Nitakwenda Honey Group (NHG) and Tanzania Humanitarian Development Charity (THDC). We also collaborate with refugee Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in Nyarugusu refugee camp located in Kigoma‑West Tanzania region such as Kuvikwame Refugee CBO, Lwenge Refugee CBO and Espoir Refugee CBO under the umbrella of Tanzania Assembly of God. To advance sustainable livelihoods and women’s empowerment, through these partnerships we provide practical skills training in soap production, mushroom cultivation, vegetable farming, entrepreneurship, and women’s rights education, reaching over 200 women and youth annually and strengthening household economic resilience.

In addition, our partnership with the Methodist Church in Kasulu supports vulnerable households each year through community outreach and social assistance initiatives. Together, these collaborations contribute to increased income opportunities, improved social protection, and long term community development.
